Dr. 道格拉斯 Goodin is a neurologist and an internationally renowned expert on multiple sclerosis (MS).

Goodin divides his time between patient care, clinical research and teaching. His research focuses on understanding genetic and environmental aspects of MS epidemiology as well as on developing and assessing new treatments for MS.

Goodin earned his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. He then completed a residency in neurology and fellowship training in clinical electrophysiology at UCSF. He also has a master's degree in molecular biology from Purdue University.

    This visit was excellent because although my MS is under good control--no relapse I was having Right Flank Pain that Dr. Goodin did not ignore and made excellent recommendation.

    One of my symptoms is short-term memory problems. Therefore I always make a written list of things I want to discuss with the doctor. But I'm easily distracted and usually forget to consult the list during my visits. Early In my most recent visit I mentioned a symptom that's become especially troublesome and that I'd hoped he might be able to resolve. But I didn't get a chance to describe the severity of the symptom or ask how it might be relieved. Instead we spent most of the visit discussing something that was not an immediate concern. So I'm still struggling to cope with the problem on my own.
