Jacky Russell is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients having surgery for gastrointestinal cancers. Providing care before and after surgery, she aims to help her patients not only recover but achieve their desired quality of life. She addresses patients' concerns about surgery and the recovery process, answering questions and providing education as needed.

After earning a bachelor's degree in nursing at Quinnipiac University, Russell earned a master's degree in nursing at UCSF, where she also completed training to become a clinical nurse specialist and acute care nurse practitioner.
